We have been loyal customers for 7 years, we have never been disappointed. Andre has been wonderful to us all these years making us the best mojitoes around. During Covid we got them to go and still supported this wonderful place. The staff(tho some reviews say otherwise) are amazing. We have never experienced anything but good food and friendly service. First time here and a favourite of ours! Celebrated our anniversary and the food was great, as we are pretty picky. My hubby had the Shrimp Jambalaya and it’s the best he ever had! I had the chicken enchilada and it surpasses any other I’ve had! We also had the DeepFried ice cream and a specialty dessert! So, so good! We are going to be inviting all our friends and family to come here. Plus we met the owner and he was so informative and just such a nice man! Thank you for a great experience! Oh yes! The Margaritas were perfect!

My wife and I recently had dinner at Las Palmeras when we went through Red Deer. The food was very delicious and well priced. The in-house produced hot sauces were also excellent and had a great balance of flavour and spice. They also have a great assortment of tequilas. The service was good and the staff were welcoming. Overall, a great place to stop for dinner. I’ll happily return in the future.

Las Palmeras is an excellent Mexican restaurant in Red Deer. The place has a warm and authentic atmosphere, and after so many years, it still maintains its essence. I first visited this restaurant 15 years ago when I lived in Red Deer, and now that I’m back for a visit, I’m happy to see that it’s just as good as I remember. The food is absolutely delicious. I had a plate of green chicken enchiladas, and they were amazing—full of authentic flavors and just the right amount of spice. As a Mexican, I can say this place truly offers a taste of home. If you’re looking for real Mexican food in Red Deer, I highly recommend Las Palmeras. The quality, flavors, and service make it a must-visit spot.

Wow. One of the best dining experiences I've had in awhile. Our waitress was amazing. I really wish I'd gotten her name to leave in this review. (She had brown hair) The restaurant was extremely clean and such a good atmosphere. I got the vegetable fajitas and they were amazing. The guacamole is the best I've ever had. They were also able to accommodate me being celiac! I highly recommend this place. Wow, just wow. Everything was just so good. Edit to say: we have been back several times and we have tried multiple items on the menu. Everything continues to be amazing. The younger waitress with black hair (and flawless makeup) is fantastic and I'm delighted when we're seated at one of her tables. All in all, our favorite place to eat out at!!!! (My favorite dish is the vegetable fajitas, his is the chicken tacos)

I have been going to Las Palmeras for years and years; I don't even know how long! I love the authentic feel, the excellent food and the great service! When friends ask, "Where should we go out to eat?" I always say Las Palmeras! :) I especially love the fried ice cream; wow! I do encourage you to have a few more vegetarian options, as Meso-American food certainly accommodates this with plenty of beans/legumes/lentils. Regardless, always top notch! Thank you!
